Soldier Pile & Lagging

Soldier piles and lagging systems provide reliable excavation support in dense urban environments. Steel piles are installed vertically and timber or concrete lagging is placed between them to retain the surrounding soil.

Soil Mix Walls

Soil mix walls strengthen weak ground conditions by blending cement with existing soil to create a continuous structural barrier. These walls are commonly used where traditional shoring systems may not be practical.

Secant/Tangent Piles

Secant and tangent pile walls form overlapping drilled shafts that create a continuous retaining wall system. These systems are often used when groundwater control or structural support is required in tight excavation areas.

Tiebacks

Tieback anchors provide lateral support for excavation walls by transferring load deep into stable soil. They are commonly used alongside sheet piling, soldier piles, and secant walls to reinforce excavation support systems.

Soil Nails

Soil nailing stabilizes excavation faces by installing steel bars directly into the soil and grouting them in place. This technique strengthens the ground and helps prevent movement during construction.

Slope Stabilization

Slope stabilization systems are used when excavation occurs near hillsides or unstable terrain. These systems help reinforce the soil and reduce the risk of slope failure during construction.

Underpinning

Underpinning supports existing structures while excavation occurs nearby. This process transfers loads from the existing foundation to deeper, more stable soil so surrounding construction can proceed safely.
