Marine Construction

Bulkheads, seawalls, and piers built to hold the shoreline in place and stand up to real waterfront conditions.

Bulkheads & Seawalls

MBI performs marine bulkheading, marine bulkhead construction, and seawall construction for waterfront properties and coastal infrastructure using steel, timber, and concrete systems.

Concrete Seawalls

Our crews build concrete seawalls for shoreline protections where stronger, longer-term coastal construction is required.

Piers & Floating Docks

We handle marine pier construction and floating dock installation for marinas, waterfront properties, and commercial marine sites.

Dock Building

From access docks to working waterfront structures, MBI provides dock and marine construction built for constant water exposure and vessel traffic.

Rock Revetments, Jetties, & Gabions

These coastal protection systems help control erosion, stabilize shorelines, and support long-term coastal marine construction.

Steel Sheetings

We install steel sheet piling, sheet pile walls, and other marine retaining systems used in bulkhead construction and shoreline stabilization.

Bridgework & Remediation

MBI performs marine bridgework, structural repairs, and remediation for aging waterfront and coastal infrastructure.

The MBI Way of Building
Along the Water

We opened our doors in 1981 doing commercial marine bulkheading. It’s harder than land work and involves tighter logistics, shorter work windows, and structures that take constant abuse from tides and weather. Most contractors try it once and decide it’s not worth the trouble. We never stopped doing it because our crews are good at it and honestly, we love the work.

45 Years of Staying Power

Forty-five years is a long time in this industry. We’ve been doing this since 1981 because we handle the operational details that sink everyone else. Our equipment works when we show up because we actually maintain it. Our crews know what they’re doing because they’ve been running these jobs for decades, not months. We don’t wait around for materials because we order them before we need them. It’s not complicated, we just don’t operate like amateurs.
